The time required to reach Sulina is approximately 3 hours being influenced by weather conditions and traffic. During the excursion we will deviate from the main route and go on narrow channels formed by water lilies, reeds and cattails and several lakes where we can see and admire the flora and fauna of the Danube Delta.
In Sulina you can visit the beach, the Old Lighthouse where a small museum is set up inside, the cemetery with several nationalities (multinational) being unique in Romania, the grave of Alexandru Ioan Cuza's niece, the city and waterfront of Sulina, St. Alexander and St. Nicholas Church, the Former Palace of the European Commission of the Danube, and if the weather permits we will try to reach the mouth of the Danube into the Black Sea.
In Sulina there are many Guesthouses and Restaurants with fishing and Dobrogean specifics.
One-day boat trips in the Danube Delta are made only on the basis of a prior reservation and payment of a 30% advance of the total cost of the trip.
The boat is specially built to carry out recreational activities in the Danube Delta, it is an open boat, equipped with cushions for the highest comfort, with very good stability and safety and is used only for tourism. Each person on the boat will receive a life jacket.
Children up to 10 years old benefit from a 40% discount on the package price. Children over 10 years old are classified as adults
